We hope you will sign up your child for Cub Scouts!

To join Pack 90, a boy or girl must be in grades K-5  Boys or girls who are in fifth grade will be able to continue until they cross over into a Scout Troop around February.

Come to a den or pack meeting on Thursday nights and complete a youth application and pack information form.  Here is a helpful flyer that explains everything you need to do.  You can also apply and pay initial sign-up costs online.  Forms can also be scanned and emailed to poconopinespack90@gmail.com.  Dues are $60 a year, paid each year in November.  New Scouts can try Cub Scouts in the Fall for $20 and pay the remaining $40 in November.  If you cannot afford dues, books, or uniforms, please let us know so we can help!  We don't want any child to avoid participating because of a lack of money.  Scouts are assigned to the following dens based on grade level and there are separate dens for boys and girls.

 

Kindergarten - Lions

First Grade - Tigers

Second Grade - Wolves

Third Grade - Bears

Fourth & Fifth Grade - Webelos

After you join, Scouts will need a handbook, and a uniform.  Lion Cubs should purchase a Lion Cub t-shirt and belt.  Tigers, Wolves, and Bears should get a blue Cub Scout Shirt and Belt.  Cub Scout hats, neckerchiefs, and pants are optional, but encouraged.  Webelos Scouts should get a tan uniform shirt and green belt, but they can continue to wear a blue uniform shirt as long as it fits.  Scouts should also get three patches for their left shoulder, as shown below.  The Cubmaster may also have patches that combine the 9 & 0.
